Today was the first day of shooting, So far, I've managed to complete the shots outside the house and in the downstairs corridor, there weren't any issues but some shots may have to be retaken as the lighting was a bit too dark which resulted in the quality being reduced.

From 6-6.30 pm we were outside, it was about 3/4 shots but it was a bit time consuming because it was a difficult to get the camera turn smoothly as it tracks the two characters approaching the door. Another problem was getting the lighting right because it was dark so I used the spotlights for support, the issue here was that there was only three of us, two of which who were acting and me who was filming which meant that there was no one who could arrange and support the spotlights. So I had to adjust by filming and managing the spotlights together to get the perfect shot.

The shooting is now complete. It took just about 2 hours to finish off as there was some issues with location. Shooting in the house meant that the mise-en-scene had to be effective which meant that I had to clear the room and ensure no one is around that could disturb the shooting.

This caused a delay for about half an hour as the room I was shooting in was in use so we had to wait to get in there, a change I made was the removal of the doctors office scene because after this session of filming I had realised that the trailer would be exceeding it's time limit so I had to cut some shots. Seeing as the trailer could easily work without the doctors office scenes, I took it out. Now I'm ready to film.

I've started to edit my film but I've had to record a few additional voice overs as I made some changes such as removing the doctor's office scenes, I now need some voice overs that will give brief information to explain the plot.

The shooting is now all complete and the editing is making a good start now. A problem that occurred was when I had to get some extra voice overs, I was editing the film when I realised I needed some more voice overs. So I asked Musaiyab to record himself on an iPhone voice recorder which he then sent to me via e-mail. To bring that onto the hardware, I downloaded the voice overs onto my USB and brought it over to the editing machine.
